About Martingale Collars

Martingale collars are commonly used for dogs who are leash training. The tightening of the chain will not hurt your pet, but instead causes slight discomfort that encourages them to stop pulling while on leash. The chain and loop will only tighten to the length of the leather portion, ensuring no harm or injury to your dog.

Please note: Martingales are for training purposes only and should NEVER be left on your dog when they are unsupervised or not actively walking on a leash. We recommend our flat leather collars for everyday wear.
